Strange lights captured on tape over Fountain, Colorado

Original uploader: First of all, Feel free to laugh at how dumb I sound in this vid. I live in Fountain, Colorado, and my girlfriend and I have been noticing strange lights from time to time in our area. This footage was filmed over the northern horizon, December 27th, 2010. There are no military bases in that direction, and the airport is far east of the presumed location. I had to leave quickly because a few cars started coming up behind me and I was parked in the middle of the road. My android phone doesn't do this clip justice. From the naked eye, the UFO appeared to be descending from the sky with multiple bright, flickering lights on the side facing me. At the end of the clip, the lights on the object seem to disappear, then reappear as I left. I have no idea what it could be. You be the judge.

Small, disc shaped object witnessed over Colorado

"On 06-16-10 at about 0935 in the morning, my friend (*name deleted) came to me and told me that he and another co-worker were outside our building and they were watching a "UFO," (*name deleted) asked me to get a camera, which I did, and brought it downstairs with him. Another co-worker, (**name deleted), also followed me downstairs. We went outside.

(*name deleted) and the other co-worker pointed into the sky to the NW of our location at about a 50 degree angle from the ground. I saw a small, circular object which reflected a silver light from the sun, and estimated it to be at between 5 and 10,000 feet in altitude. I began taking still digital photographs of the object, which appeared to be round or circular. I saw that it was not being towed by another aircraft and did not have wings. The camera used was a Canon Powershot SX20IS, with a max zoom of 560 mm.

The object (still watched by myself and the other 3 witnesses) continued to move slowly to the N.West. It was hard to tell if it gained altitude, but remained in the shape and still reflective. We lost sight of the object about 7 minutes later as it went over our building.

(*name deleted) told me that the object was much closer when he and his co-worker first saw it above the building (and was much lower in altitude), and looked like a "disk". They said it was completely silent. I reviewed the images at on a low-res screen afterward and the object is positively round or disk-shaped. The detail of the images is not superb, due to the distance when I first saw it.

UFOs at DEN? Conspiracy theories thrive at airports

Officials insist the 26-foot tall statue of the ancient Egyptian god Anubis now standing outside the Denver International Airport terminal is there to promote a King Tut exhibit opening soon at the Denver Art Museum. But the giant image of the jackal-headed god tasked with protecting the spirits of the dead is alarming some travelers.

"I'm not superstitious, but it doesn't exactly instill confidence when the god of the dead is staring through the window at you!" says Brian Olson, a Colorado resident who travels frequently through Denver airport.

The Anubis statue, which has also spent time at the Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport, will leave Denver International Airport in mid-August. Staying behind will be several pieces from the airport's permanent public art collection that some travelers consider ominous and, in some cases, out of this world...

Witnesses see three boomerang shaped objects near Fort Collins, Colorado

"I was driving from Mulberry and Lemay in Fort Collins to the Waterglen housing development off of I-25. The sky was very cloudy, and I was looking in my rear view mirror at the clouds above the mountains behind me. Some of the clouds were dark, and some were bright white. When I turned left into the neighborhood, I had a view of the western sky. That is when I noticed 3 white objects in the sky.

They were closer than an airplane and well below the clouds. Then they seemed to flip end over end in formation, and turn black with a bright white edge or outline. They were distinctly separate, but in near perfect formation. My daughter said they were birds because of flight formation.

My son thought it was a military air show. I was thinking, "What the heck is that, maybe hang gliders?"

But they were moving from South to North across the western sky at the same altitude and not getting lower. They seemed to be flipping end over end changing from bright reflective white against the dark clouds to the outlined black. The shape of each individual object was kind of boomerang, but they were all 3 together in the shape of a triangle. They moved rather slowly, and we watched them until I pulled into my driveway.

The neighbor was walking out of his house, so I stopped him and asked "What the heck is that in the sky?" It took him about 10 seconds to locate what we were seeing. He had no idea what it could be either. We laughed about it being UFOs. We watched this for about 5 minutes until they disappeared behind the houses into the northwestern sky. They never got closer or higher.

They just seemed to vanish. Immediately I went inside and posted this on my Facebook page. I wanted to document what I saw. Then I started to look on the Internet for sightings in Fort Collins.

A couple of them matched my description, but on different dates. I am left wondering, "What the heck was that?"

Maybe if this happens another day, someone else will have reported it, and I wont feel crazy anymore."

UFO expert investigating Colo. cow mutilations

"ALAMOSA, Colo. - Authorities in Colorado's San Luis Valley are trying to solve a series of bizarre, gruesome slaying: cows, mutilated, carved up, left to die in the fields.

Man witnesses strange, flying object near Air Force Academy

"I was driving south on Broadway heading to work (between Arapahoe and Mineral) I work 3rd shift. I first noticed the object coming over the tree line from the SW heading NE towards DIA. (Denver International Airport). But it could not have been more than 500' up - too low for DIA, and heading the wrong way for Centenial.

As it was approaching, I turned down my radio and rolled the window down all the way. I heard nothing (there was traffic noise though). As it was passing over Broadway in front of me, I realized there were no windows on it. The wings on it were not shaped like conventional ones, they seemed to come out to a point, and the tail section looked way too small for the "plane."

The fuselage was long and thin. I also noticed no exhaust. The feeling I had was I had seen this before, then it hit me, the Utah aircraft mystery.

Not exactly like it, but very similar. My best guess was it was 100 to 150 feet long, and I lost sight over the tree line to my left and behind me. Upon reflection it could have been coming from the Air Force Academy. A drone?"

Town distances itself from million-dollar Bigfoot hunt

"SILVERTON - For $250, photographers can enter to win $1 million for snapping a photo of Bigfoot in the mountains of southwest Colorado. The problem is the event's supposed sponsors and host resort have never heard of such a thing.

The hunt, advertised through the website www.hunt4bigfoot.com, is the brainchild of Silverton-businessman Rick Lewis. He owns Bigfoot Central, a gift shop and "museum."

Lewis is also the recent target of several cease-and-desist letters from companies and government organizations that he implied were sponsors of his event..."

Two witnesses see two separate unknowns in Colorado

"I stepped outside at approximately 2:00 AM to smoke and saw a bright light hovering or slowly moving in my direction. It was not shining a light, but more like illuminating itself about 30 ft above a neighbors house. It took about 2 minutes to get closer and as it did, I called my younger sister which also witnessed the craft.

We could tell it was not a helicopter or anything like that because we were so close we could not see propellers or hear any noise. It was just hovering, and then slowly moved on until we lost sight of it. We also noticed another bright light about 10 ft above an apartment across the street which seemed to be just hovering, and then 2 more crafts appeared no higher than the street lights at the corner of our block.

We recorded this one on our camera phone. The light above the apartment seemed to just disappear. We witnessed these craft for about 10 minutes or more. We can assure you it was no plane, helicopter, or anything like that. We were so close that we could tell it wasn't anything of our military, the news, or from the airport.

When first seeing this light I couldn't believe it. I wasn't sure if I was seeing a UFO or not until it got closer and then that's when I knew for sure. I am now a firm believer and no one can change my mind. I know what I saw and no one can tell me different."

Witness describes odd shaped flying object over Colorado

"I looked up in the sky south of my house in Littleton, Colorado, and saw a very large, odd shaped object low in the sky to the south west, moving slowly down or South, going slowly behind the house across the street. It could have been over Lockheed Martin Space Systems, but I couldn't judge the distance perfectly. I went in the house to get binoculars and it was gone. I got in my car and drove to a point a block away where I could see it again.

I watched it through my binoculars for about 5 minutes or so. It changed shape the whole time I watched it, about a mile or so away (I guess)and forty feet long (I guess), but it was hard to tell if maybe it was farther and bigger. It wasn't closer I'm sure. I thought maybe it was a weird balloon or something twisting and rotating in the wind, but it wasn't anything like a hot air balloon or aircraft that I have ever seen, and didn't seem to be moving anymore.

I drove to get a closer look and it was suddenly gone, so I doubt it was a balloon, because it had vanished while I was driving towards it. It was there one minute and gone the next. I didn't see it disappearing or moving away which I should have because I was keeping a close eye on it, because I was looking away periodically in order to drive."
