An exhibition by photographer Yvette Worboys titled Ghosts has captured eerie images of the former Gladesville Mental Hospital, in Sydney, which opened in November 1838 and closed in 1997.

Alien photographs – London, UK, 1999

This case is kind of strange, and hard for me to believe in, that supposedly occurred in London of 1999, but here’s the story:

Mr. X was awakened sometime in the middle of the night by the louder than usual sounds of his neighbor's dog. Being shaken from slumber, he had a very strange feeling, either from something odd going on outside, or the remnant of a bad dream. To rule out the former, he took a walk outside to see if he could pinpoint the cause of the dog's heightened state of alarm. He was immediately drawn to a strange light in the sky. The light seemed to emanate from three spots, the brightest being in front of two others behind it, creating a triangular shape. He was staring at a triangle-shaped UFO.

Mr. X sped back into the house and grabbed his video camera. He was hoping to film the UFO before it disappeared, but instead he filmed what he claimed to be a type of small, ghost-like beings who seemed to be rummaging around behind his fence. The total length of the film was about four minutes.

The strange beings made a sound which was barely audible, and somewhat muffled. The sounds of the small beings had attracted him to the area. Mr. X was frank in stating that he was a student of the Paranormal, and had experienced strange occurrences before. Nothing more is known about this case.

To me this looks just too good to be true, and the case that this apparently occurred in the buzzing town of London, there is strange that they are no other reports or witnesses. The fact that only stills exists of the video, makes it hard for me to draw any conclusion, but in my eyes this is nothing more than a hoax.

Local invites community to view ghost: 'You won't believe this thing'

“MILTON — For Michael Wright, seeing ghosts and apparitions is a regular occurrence at his Milton home. However, he said new additions don’t typically come around — until last week.

Three unknown objects photographed over Pennsylvania

Report from MUFON: Date of event: January 10, 2011

“My 26-year-old son and his wife were driving north on Belvoir Road near Plymouth Road intersection, in a brand new less than 100 miles, Toyota Corolla, when my son decided to take a few pictures out the window. The photograph below shows something we saw when we reviewed it. The actual picture on the camera had more visible objects, at least 10 to 20 more.

To put it in today’s words "there was a lot going on up in the sky."  When he took the picture, neither he nor his wife noticed anything unusual in the sky.

I have shown this to other people and got mixed viewpoints from being real UFOs or just plain dirt on windshield. One man I showed picture to come back later with numerous older published photos showing three similar objects in identical formation.

A few days after the taking of the picture I sat in the front seat of the Toyota and looked through windshield at every possible angle and there was no dirt marks or deformities in window.

The car had not been washed from the time of photo up to the time I examined the windshield.”

Unknown chain of lights filmed at witness property north of Markham, Ontario

“Markham, Ontario - April 2, 2011 - Approx.: 6:30 a.m.

Brian Vike’s Note: I would like to point out that these two chains of lights were seen by the witnesses; also what is important is that there have been numerous sightings filed to me which were seen all around this area in Ontario.

If you look in-between the two chains of lights, there appears to be something that “might” be a triangular craft of some type. I do not know for sure, but I thought I should point this out as well.

It was on April 2, 2011, at about 6:30 am, and I was just sitting at my computer, when something caught my attention out of the corner of my eye.

It was two strings of very bright lights flashing, kind of like Christmas lights that run. I grabbed my camera and snapped two photos. I zoomed in so they blurred somewhat.

I quickly ran down stairs to go outside, in hopes of getting a better shot, but they were fading away by then.

I have them posted on my Facebook. My husband has lived here 20 years and never seen anything like them.

There is a town in the same direction, but I looked for the next 2 days and saw nothing that even looked like that.”

Unknown object photographed over Kentucky?

Report from MUFON: Date of event: April 4, 2011

“On April 4, I was visiting Richmond, Kentucky. As I was enjoying the country life and driving to see my family, I was taken by the beautiful sunset, so I asked my daughter to roll down the window and take a photograph of the sunset for me.

It was only upon looking at the series of photographs the next day that I noticed the bright star in the upper right corner of all the shots and decided to zoom in for a closer look. Much to my surprise, it was not a big, bright star, but clearly a big, bright white triangle shaped object.

Upon further examination, I noticed that directly below the triangle, to the right of the light post, is a black circular object that does not look like a plane or helicopter. The most significant thing about the place I took the photographs is that it is directly adjacent to the Blue Grass Army Depot - which houses large munition storage, chemical weapons, and a new chemical weapon destruction facility.

My thoughts about these photos are either, good job America on the new technology, or, heads up US Government and military, we have visitors eyeing Blue Grass Army Depot and weapons of mass destruction. Americans better hope the intelligence behind this spy craft is ours, and is protecting the airspace around these weapons of mass destruction.

Let us hope that BGAD is not being targeted for mass destruction of America.”

Bigfoot caught on trail camera?

Every year it seems that we get some blurry photographs of a creature some would call Bigfoot. And now a new photograph has arrived.

Apparently this photograph was captured back in early September of 2010, on trail cam in the state of Vermont. And by the midst of the night (according to the SquatchDetective website the camera of of be roughly six hours), this was in frame:

The Solway Firth Spaceman

Very often, photographs of the paranormal are fussy and blurry, which makes it easy for skeptics to attack its authenticity. But, there exist a handful of clear and distinct paranormal photographs that the skeptics have had a harder time with. One of those photographs was taken in 1964 on a hill in the northern parts of England.

It was on May 24, 1964 when firefighter Jim Templeton and his wife decided to take some photographs of their daughters in Burgh Marsh, near Burgh by Sands, Cambria, with Jim's Pentacon camera. Jim took a photograph of his five year old daughter Elizabeth. The Templeton's were the only people on the marsh throughout the day. Nothing seemed to out of the ordinary, except they the animal behaved strangely. After the photograph of Elizabeth was taken, the family headed home.

One week later, Templeton picked up his photographs at the local photochemistry. The person at behind the desk said it was “a pity that someone in a spacesuit had destroyed the best picture of Elizabeth by standing behind her.” Jim thought it was a joke. He was absolutely sure that they were the only the marshes that day. But sure enough, someone was standing behind his daughter in what looked to be a spacesuit. Templeton, confused and angry, took the photograph to the police.

THE POLICE: “IT WAS JUST A PERSON”
Also the police was surprised by what Templeton shows them. To them, it was without a doubt that someone was behind Jim's daughter, despite, whatever it now was; it looked to be floating rather than standing. The police sent the photograph away to Kodak, the manufacturer of the film. Either could Kodak identify the anomaly. The only they could say was that the photograph was genuine and had not been manipulated.

The police had started to investigate the case, and after a few weeks, they were able to conclude that the anomaly in the photograph was just human. Also, one of the investigators tried to make Templeton confess that it was his wife that had, by mistake, stepped behind Elizabeth at the time for the photograph. But why would the wife were a spacesuit and how did she make look that she was floating?

MYSTERIOUS VISITORS AND A LINK TO AUSTRALIA
The case gets even stranger. A few weeks after the incident, Jim was visited by two mysterious visitors. The two men arrived in a black car and wore dark suites, but except that, they looked normal. Their behavior was also strange; they only referred to one another by numbers and asked the most unusual questions as they drove Jim out to the marshes. The men tried to make Jim admit that he had just photographed an ordinary man walking by. Jim behaved polite, but rejected their theory. At this point, the men became angry and drove away, leaving Jim for a five mile walk home.

But the story does not end there. After some time, it becomes known that similar phenomena had occurred when a Blue Streak space rocket was due to be launched from Woomera in Australia. The countdown was postponed when two automatic survey cameras had independently spotted two large figures in the firing area during the countdown phase. But how is a missile launch in Australia related to Jim's photograph? It turns out the photograph was not taken far away from the factory were missile was constructed.

This is how far we can go when it comes to this photograph. Despite years of investigation and leads from the other side of the world, we're left with a photograph of a little girl and a person that one has been able to identify.

Chinese airport closed after fiery UFO is spotted flying over city

Woman motorist photographs triangle shaped object in Ohio

"I was driving my kids home from a school function Friday afternoon at approximately 3:30 PM. Driving on a side street going home, I looked up and right above the trees I saw a black triangle-shaped object kind of floating above the trees. At first I thought it to be a kite or balloon, but it was odd in movement and in shape, as I continued to drive the object was going in our direction.

I said "What is that, do you see that?" My kids were kind of freaked out by it. At the corner of my street is a factory with a 4-5 story high chimney, this object went around the chimney, and kind of started hovering by the tree line.

I had my camera with us for the school event and so I started snapping pictures. It started to move away from where we were parked, so we got in the car and started chasing it. We followed it down a street of industrial factories, and I pulled into a lot with a clear view of where this thing was "hovering."

I got out of the car and snapped a few more pictures and tried to take video of it. I called a few of the workers over who were looking at me like I was crazy and wondering what I was doing there, until I showed them the object in the sky. They were all looking at the object and wondering exactly what it was we were looking at fly slowly across the sky. It stopped and seemed to be hovering over a shopping plaza, and I got my kids back in the car and tried to chase it down.

By the time I got to the shopping plaza, which is only a five minute drive from where we were, it was long gone. It was very weird, my daughter and I both thought we saw it slightly change shapes and it was very odd.

I have never ever saw anything like this before ever!"

"I was driving west on route 52, approaching Pine Bush, NY. I noticed "something strange" in the sky, and snapped the attached photo. I don't remember seeing the lights move or blink or anything. Fast forward to late April 2010... looking through my pictures on my cellphone, I found the picture I had taken and had completely forgotten about.

I do not believe there is any "missing time" or anything, but I can't be sure, as I have no memory other than that of seeing something strange and taking a picture. It just slipped my mind completely, until I found it on my phone recently.

I posted the photo to a local UFO Yahoo group. One of the members lightened it, and I am attaching that photo as well. I cannot explain what this is.

Multiple unknown objects witnessed by two in New York

"On Saturday evening, May 15, at approximately 9:15 PM, I was walking northeast one block west of Bellmore Ave. I noticed a dark,reddish-orange ball in the sky moving southeast of Bellmore Ave.

I followed it about one block south, when it appeared to stop over a house, then it disappeared. I then went back one block north, then turned right (north east), when I observed two more balls, one following the other, coming from the north going south.

I went and got my mother, and the two of us observed the two balls from our back yard. When the first one disappeared, two more balls appeared from the same direction as the first two and went south. This happened maybe three times for a total of eight or ten objects.

They were moving kind of slow, and each pair was evenly spaced apart. The balls were dark orange, with red swirling around inside. It looked like an orange-red liquid marble of fire. At some point I decided to get my video camera, but by the time I got back outside, the last one was gone. We waited and watched for about 15 to 20 minutes, but there were no more balls. We went in the house and in total disbelief of what we had just seen wanted to report it, but didn't know where to call.

After a little while I went home, directly across the street from my mother's house, where the second sighting took place. I realized I needed milk, so I went back to my mother's house to borrow a glass of milk, and as I crossed the street I looked towards the direction the balls were coming from... and there was another ball going in the same direction as the others.

I ran in the house, got my video camera, and managed to get about thirty seconds or so of the ball. (frame capture above right)

Mystery of Wem ghost solved by an 88-year-old postcard and an eagled-eyed pensioner

"It was an image hailed as compelling evidence for the existence of ghosts.

As a town hall was being destroyed by fire, an apparition of a little girl - standing behind a rail and surrounded by flames - was apparently captured on camera.

The picture was taken by Tony O'Rahilly, a sewage farm worker and keen photographer, as he stood across the road among a crowd watching the 90-year-old building in Wem, Shropshire, burn down in November 1995..."

Dog walker photographs Victorian Age ghost in park

"A man, Paul Reed, who was out walking his dog has spoken of his amazement after photographing what he claimed was a Victorian Age ghost in a park.

The father of two was walking thought Kelsey Park in Beckenham, Kent, when he spotted the phantom appear behind a park bench.

The 46-year-old said he was walking pet pooch Harry in the park this week when the spook - a woman wearing Victorian-style dress - suddenly materialised..."

Police flooded with UFO sighting reports after residents see large, tube-like object over Somerset County

"SOMERVILLE -- Somerville police were flooded with phone calls this morning after residents reported seeing a large tube-like object fluttering through the sky.

Police said they were swamped with phone calls after a flurry of callers reported to radio station NJ 101.5 that a UFO was flying above the area. Residents then began calling the Somerville Police Department to report the object.

“I first noticed when all our mechanics started looking up at the sky,” said Terry Weil, a sales associate at Honda Autosport in Bridgewater. “It looked like a big black strip fluttering in the air. Maybe a cylinder..."

UFO photographs - Motonau, New Zealand, October 27, 1979

This photograph was taken in Motonau, New Zealand on October 27, 1979. Two former New Zealand Air Force photographic analysts have deemed the photo to be real. This is one of several photographs taken in the morning of October 27, but its only that shows the UFO. No one reported seeing or hearing an object in the sky at the time.

Sighting of "UFO" over Filey provokes interest
