Possible Ogopogo video catches the eye of international media

“The video of a possible Ogopogo sighting in Okanagan Lake has caught the eye of international media.

Two weeks ago, West Kelowna resident Richard Huls said he captured video of something in the water.

“It proves something is down there. Whether it’s Ogopogo or not, it is a different story but there is something at least down there,” Huls said.”

Lights brighten up hill at Sudbury, Ontario

Report from MUFON: Date of event: April 3, 2011

“I was driving taxi just in the border of the city and it was a dark road when I saw an orange light in the sky. It looked like a street light, but higher in the sky and my passenger saw it too.I proceeded to drive client home and drove back to the location to see if it was still there.

There were lights off in the distance; I would say two or three kilometers over a hill. It had three lights - blue, red and white, and was not in the normal pattern for a commercial airline or helicopter as we see them all the time. It had one bright white light pulsating very brightly under the others randomly.

The light was bright enough to light up the hill it was over. It was very interesting, but I had to leave because I was dispatched to a fare. I didn't see anything after that except for a helicopter about 30 minutes after, but could tell it was one.

It is very interested that others in Ontario have witnessed something on that date and time. UFO flap?”

Unknown chain of lights filmed at witness property north of Markham, Ontario

“Markham, Ontario - April 2, 2011 - Approx.: 6:30 a.m.

Brian Vike’s Note: I would like to point out that these two chains of lights were seen by the witnesses; also what is important is that there have been numerous sightings filed to me which were seen all around this area in Ontario.

If you look in-between the two chains of lights, there appears to be something that “might” be a triangular craft of some type. I do not know for sure, but I thought I should point this out as well.

It was on April 2, 2011, at about 6:30 am, and I was just sitting at my computer, when something caught my attention out of the corner of my eye.

It was two strings of very bright lights flashing, kind of like Christmas lights that run. I grabbed my camera and snapped two photos. I zoomed in so they blurred somewhat.

I quickly ran down stairs to go outside, in hopes of getting a better shot, but they were fading away by then.

I have them posted on my Facebook. My husband has lived here 20 years and never seen anything like them.

There is a town in the same direction, but I looked for the next 2 days and saw nothing that even looked like that.”

Ootsa Lake creature sighting

"The last thing Darlene Thompkins expected to see on her holiday was something she referred to as the 'Ootsa Lake monster'.

Thompkins who is holidaying in Burns Lake with her family from Edmonton, said she named the mysterious sighting in Ootsa Lake a monster because she didn't know what else to call it.

Thompkins and her granddaughter were wading in the water near the Ootsa Lake spillway last week, while her friend George sat on the shore..."

Eerie UFO sightings reported over B.C. lake

"VANCOUVER -- Reports have been flying in of an unidentified flying object hovering over Cultus Lake in Chilliwack, B.C. on Tuesday night.

The story broke on The Fox's Jeff O'Neil Show Wednesday morning during their Open Phones segment.

'Dallas' called into the show to report that his girlfriend spotted some eerie lights flooding the pitch-black sky [insert Twilight Zone music here]..."

Little Haunted House on the Prairie

"The wide-open prairie can be a spooky place late at night. I discovered this last weekend, while driving across the lonely stretch of land between Spruce Woods Provincial Park and Brandon. The pale light of the full moon made every cluster of trees seem haunted and gave the mist that hung over the land an unearthly glow.

Why was I travelling across the prairie at one o’clock in the morning, instead of being sound asleep in my tent at Spruce Woods' Kiche Manitou campground? My travel partner and I were heading towards the weirdest provincial park in Manitoba – the Criddle/Vane Homestead Provincial Heritage Park.

The Criddle/Vane Homestead sits at the end of a farm road, off Provincial Road 340, 40 kilometres southeast of Brandon. Percy Criddle brought his family over from England in 1882, hoping to make his fortune by growing wheat on the Canadian Prairies..."

Alien caught on tape in Canada? - I have my doubts

A new interesting video has turned up on Youtube. This time it's a footage of an alien allegedly shot in Alberta, Canada in June of this year.

The original description from "MrBeeHat" is as following:
"This footage was taken at around eleven or twelve at night in rural Alberta on June 7th 2010. A few days prior to this, me and my brother had been hearing noises from the yard at night and thought we had seen something out the window, so we decided to keep a camera handy in case it happened again. As you can see, the footage we captured shows a tall creature with a strange manner of walking. It had quite large hands with three fingers each and appeared to almost go completely invisible at times. One of the strangest features of this being was it's almost metallic looking skin. Feel free to comment on this footage."

This isn't the first time a video of an alien shows up on the web. In the summer of 2008 this video showed up on Youtube:



The video was promoted by Jeff Peckman, but was said to have been shot by Stan Romanek in North Dakota. Back to the new video.

I have some minor knowledge 3D-rendering, and there are two things interesting to me: when the "alien" runs it looks strange, and the collision with the chair doesn't look natural either. It looks like when an object is knocked on a video game and it just falls down.

I doubt that this video shows an actual alien, it is more likely just a computer rendering of some sort.

Newfoundland UFOs still a mystery

"The unidentified flying objects spotted in January off Newfoundland remain a mystery to the government, despite extensive scrutiny, according to Department of National Defence (DND) documents obtained by CBC News.

The documents contain grainy images of a rocket with a long, fiery tail soaring skyward. The reports rule out missiles and model rockets, but don't suggest what the images might show.

Military experts discredit the possibility of ballistic and cruise missiles. DND's Directorate of Scientific and Technical Intelligence (DSTI) assessed the images and reported: "The object is not a ballistic missile, not a cruise missile in boost phase nor a cruise missile in-flight phase. It is also not a licensed model rocket launcher..."

UFO spotted during drive home from Vancouver

"I read your article Monday, April 26, in The Daily News, Don’t Touch The Aliens.

Although it may be difficult for some to believe, my wife and I had a very unusual experience. We were coming back from Vancouver in 1980 and as we passed on the highway above Ashcroft we heard a humming sound.

Looking above the windshield there was a space ship about 50 feet in diameter and (just guessing) about 20 feet in depth at the thickest part. It hovered over us, the wife was terrified. I just thought I could out run it..."

Bigfoot activity in Canada?

The "barks strips", were created when the top of the tree came off, pulling back a thick layer of wood as the tree top fell to the ground. It's not Sasquatch related, but something which I have never seen before. There was wood knocking going on while I was filming it though."
