Strobing lights in sky seen near Liberty, Indiana

“While returning home from Oxford, OH to Liberty, IN on Bath Rd. in Franklin City., IN, I was looking off to the right towards Liberty. I had been watching contrails from aircraft in a clear blue sky, which we had not seen in nearly a month.

The terrain is farmland with a few copses of trees and one can see the cell tower in Liberty, on US 27. While looking out towards that area, suddenly there were several teardrop flashes just above the trees in a straight-line trajectory moving from west to east, towards Oxford.

There were approximately five of them and to describe it, they moved so fast it was almost incomprehensible. Just as I remarked to my husband, they were gone. It was NOT the cell tower, but looked like the strobes at an airport.

There is an airport belonging to Miami University, however, it was to the left and about 5 miles behind us. Further, they do not have those types of strobes. These were silver-blue teardrop shapes. It was really hard to describe, though. No, I did not think it was a tower.

I am on that road virtually every day and know every nook and cranny of it. It looked like the strobes on a runway and very much like an LED light.

To describe what I felt? Freaked out. Gave me a creepy feeling. It or they seemed to have just disappeared behind us into the sky.

It was still light out, too.”

Two witnesses spot UFOs over Indiana

"Me and my buddy were in my garage smoking some cigarettes, then he got thirsty so we both went to get some water. As soon as I opened the garage door and we stepped out, I looked up and saw a bright, green circle zoom from above me to behind the tree line in front of me to the west.

Right away I knew I had experienced a UFO sighting. My heart was pounding and I was so excited. I told my buddy what I had seen, he thought I was playing a joke on him so I made him stand there with me to see if we could see any more.

Within five minutes, we had counted 6 or 7 UFOs. The first one I saw was the bright, green circle, it had vanished behind the trees in the west. After that, the other UFOs were smaller or farther away, and they were all flying so fast it was hard to spot them out. But they came from all directions. They were all moving fast and curving upward. Me and my buddy saw one UFO at the same time, it zoomed across the sky from north to south and had a yellowish light with a trail.

All the others were seen by either me or him. But the smaller UFOs had trails behind them, and my buddy described one that was shining bright blue. They reminded me of shooting stars, but they couldn't have been because they were curving and turning every which way.

I couldn't tell the shape of the smaller UFOs, but they gave off a bright white or yellow light. We only saw one green one and one blue one. I know what I saw. And my friend is my witness."

"I had a really bad breakup with my boyfriend a few months back and decided to clear my mind. I grabbed a chair and sat on the balcony. The day was BEAUTIFUL. There was not a cloud in the sky, and it was broad daylight. I was looking at the sky as I always do when I reflect.

It makes me feel closer to God and I talk to him when I look at the sky. As I was looking, there was an HUGE object that was shining brighter than the moon would, had it been out, and the light seemed to constantly change shape. It was a glare like the sun, except it didn't hurt my eyes to look. I immediately knew what it was. There was no question. I ran in a got a family member who was napping at the time so that she could view it.

We watched it on and off for about an hour before I tried to take pictures of it on my camera phone, but it would not show up. After a couple of hours, the sky got much darker and you could see it more clearly. By this time, there were two more smaller crafts that had been released, one to the left and one to the right.

They were blinking in a pattern unlike anything that I can describe. Almost like they were communicating with the bright craft. The craft was so bright that I could not tell its shape. A little while after that, it moved.

At first it was directly up and slightly to the left in the sky. Then it appeared much lower farther right. The smaller craft were going in circles in their positions. When I came back to check again, they all had gone.

I never felt scared. I was smiling and excited. As strange as this is about to sound, I was trying to see if I could communicate mentally with it. I asked it to change its colors but it never did. It remained so bright, the light almost looked yellowish.

I started to get in my car and drive nearer to it, but I did not want to miss much. God is AMAZING! Truly fascinating this was."

Man sees multiple lights in triangle shape in Indiana

"I went outside around 10:25 PM to smoke a cigarette. I was standing on back deck which faces south. The object appeared in the night sky heading in a northwest direction. Six iridescent white round lights on each side in a large V-shape was low in the sky.

There was no sound, the movement was very smooth, almost like it was gliding. The sky was overcast, not a lot of moonlight The object did not put off light, and the formation never changed, the direction never changed, it never ascended or descended.

I lost sight of the UFO when it passed over my neighbor's roof line, and my view was blocked. I want to know what this was. I have no explanation of what this could have been, I cannot explain it away as being an airplane, helicopter, weather balloon or flares.

I want to know if anyone else saw this or reported it to the airport, police etc. I have lived in this area my entire life and never seen anything like this."

Three, dim, gray lights in triangle formation over Indiana

"I was standing on my deck after picking up some Taco Bell, and I looked up for a minute to look at the stars. I noticed a strange silouhette-like triangle shape out of my peripheral. I started tracking it with my eyes, and noticed there were three dim gray lights in an equilateral triangle formation.

I could not tell if they were connected or separate, but I felt as though it was one craft I was looking at, not three. If you held a nickel up at arm's length, it was about as large as the nickel from point to point. The lights moved at a constant rate the whole time, very fast, in a straight line.

I watched it move silently for about 15 seconds until it was behind the optometry building. I felt both wonderment and fear while I stood there watching it. This is the second time I have seen a trio of lights in the sky. It was way too strange."
