Report from MUFON:
Date of event: June 10, 2010
Location of event: Georgia, USA
"Standing outside taking puppy out and pulsating light above caught my attention. At first I thought it was just an airplane, but as I watched it there were no wings and no other lights as planes have, and it was way too low to be a plane. The light made it clear that it was a perfect sphere. Then I thought maybe helicopter, but my husband came out and said it couldn't be, there was no sound and the light was not anything explainable.
The pulsing was a very intense white light then to nothing. It continued moving southwest very slowly, and the pulsing was continuous.
I noticed a smaller light hovering underneath that didn't appear to be attached. At a certain point it slowly traveled more to the left, and changed in path too hard for a plane to do, over the tree line at a field behind my house. Then it moved even more over to the left and seemed to hover in that area for a few moments and then it was gone.
We were constantly moving to maintain a clear view, and there is no way this was explainable. The light underneath never moved, it was with the object the whole time. Sadly my phone was in the house and I didn't want to take my eyes off of it, not sure if I should believe what I was seeing.
There was lightning in the distance, and I could see stars, although in our area there were some clouds. We did confirm the difference with several airplanes that passed at different times and there was a total difference. Where we are located, we can see the shapes and lights of planes easily, and there is always sound, but with this there wasn't, and it moved in odd ways and disappeared without descending."

UFO photographs - Las Cruces, New Mexico, March 12, 1967
This photograph was taken on March 12, 1967 near Las Cruces, New Mexico by a New Mexico State University that was hiking in the area around Picacho Peak in the Picaco Park. About 02:00 PM, he spotted a big round silvery object hovering over a hill about 500 yards away. The object appeared stationary or was moving very little when the photograph was taken. When the student had prepared to take a second photograph of the object, it had disappeared. He said that it made no noise and that he could smell an electric odor in the air.

Silver sphere seen streaking across Virginia
Report from MUFON:
Date of event: March 17, 2010
Location of event: Virginia, USA
"I was standing alone at the bus stop at 8:45 AM, looking in a southeasterly direction when I spotted a silver sphere streak through the sky at an estimated distance of half a mile and several hundred feet off the ground. The object was observed for a brief 2-3 seconds at a 45 degree angle from the horizon and traveling in a clear blue sky.
It was the size of a dime held at arm's length and heading in the direction of Alexandria, VA, and the Potomac River. Its flight path from behind me would have had it traveling over the Pentagon.
It reflected the sun’s light, and traveled about the same speed that a falling star would be traveling. There was no sound and it simply vanished in flight, not just disappearing over the horizon.
I hadn’t planned on reporting this except that it seemed very similar to the silver-colored sphere described in case 22347 one hour later in Pennsylvania."

Three witnesses observe unidentified object near Santa Barbara, California
Report from MUFON:
Date of event: March 20, 2010
Location of event: Santa Barbara, California
"At approximately 8:15 PM PST, a group of three individuals witnessed a large, bright, white spherical light moving in a southerly direction towards the city of Santa Barbara. The individuals were facing in the southerly direction when they noticed the light at their 11 O'clock. The object emitted no sound.
Its size was approximately one eighth of the visible moon surface, and equal in brightness. It had no visible blinking lights. The individuals watched the object for approximately 40 seconds. From the viewpoint of the individuals, the object traveled from their 11 O'clock to 9:30 coming from out of a northerly direction.
The object then appeared to fade at the 9:30 position rather than continuing on a more "natural" orbital course. The location of the viewpoint is in the foothills north of Santa Barbara, between Hwy 154 and the 101 just off San Marcos Rd.
The skies appeared clear. The temperature was roughly 58 degrees Fahrenheit."

Sphere shaped object moves at great speed over Oklahoma
Report from MUFON:
Date of event: March 2, 2010
Location of event: Oklahoma, USA
"I was taking my dogs out at approximately 8:00 PM CST. I was standing on the south side (uncovered) porch of my house. I always look up at the sky every night and do a little stargazing. I was outside for a few minutes before I looked up at the west /outhwest sky. At 8:05 PM CST, I noticed what appeared to be a very bright "yellowish" star that I have never noticed before, but it appeared to be moving very slowly north.
There was a light breeze that was making the tree limbs move a little, so I held up my right index finger as a reference to see if it was an optical illusion. The object actually was moving very slowly to the north. I watched this object for about one minute before the acceleration.
There were no blinking lights that would identify this as an airplane. I actually counted three airplanes in the sky after this happened. It was just an extremely bright yellowish sphere-shaped object that was moving slowly to the north. All of a sudden, the object accelerated "extremely fast" and traveled north for about 1 to 1.5 seconds. I cannot even estimate how far this object may have traveled at this speed. But from the point it accelerated to the point it stopped (I held my tape measure up to the sky starting from the tree that was in the horizon when it started, to the tree in the horizon where it stopped), it was three feet and two inches on my tape measure.
The object then decelerated "extremely fast," stopped, and disappeared. But I have never seen anything like this in my life and my jaw was left hanging open. This was an amazing sight to behold, whether it was a government craft or a craft of extraterrestrial origin. But Unfortunately I did not have my videocamera with me to record this. After witnessing what I did tonight I can assure you whenever I go out from now on I will have my video camera."
