Report from MUFON:
Date of event: March 19, 2010
Location of event: Maryland, USA
"My friends and I were outside since it was nice out. There were seven of us. One of the little kids made two of my friends mad so I suggested we lay down in my friend's driveway and look at the stars. We were talking when I noticed the light from a star was blocked out for a moment. I had a double-take and when I looked again, I saw a triangular shaped craft with four orange lights.
Three of these four lights were located near the tips of the craft while the fourth was in the middle. I was in shock. I live in a busy area and my father and I are involved with astronomy and own two telescopes. We both look at the stars all of the time and live near an airport, so we have a VERY clear idea of what a plane looks like at night.
This object wasn't hard to see or obscured by clouds, and I could CLEARLY make out the shape and lights on it. When I saw it, I immediately stood up and shouted to everyone and pointed out the object. One of my friends saw it and kept his eye on it. The object was relatively slow and very low, moving northwest.
This friend always blew off anything about UFOs and thought the whole idea of it was bogus. That is no longer the case. Two other people caught a glance of it, but saw it just before it escaped our point of view. Of course, no one else saw it and when we talk about it they just belittle us. But my friend and I know what we saw."

Ohio witness sees low-flying triangle UFO
Report from MUFON:
Date of event: March 19 2010
Location of event: West Linn, Oregon
"I walked outside my condo in West Linn, Oregon, to walk the dog at around 8:00 PM. It was completely dark except for the stars and the crescent moon - there were no clouds in the sky. Instantly I heard dogs barking and howling in the northwest direction of the neighborhood, but my dog remained silent (he's not a me-too barker).
Right away I looked up in the sky as I always do when I go outside, and to my left I saw a low-flying vehicle that was coming from the southeast direction and heading northwest. I estimated it being between 50 to 75 yards up in the sky. It was close enough that I saw the bottom of the metal, triangular-shaped vehicle. I was thinking it would hit some trees or crash because it was so low, but apparently it didn't.
I could see the bottom of this jet-sized vehicle, but it was triangle shaped and didn't look like a plane or jet. It was at least 75 feet long. Afterwards, when I stretched my arm out where I saw the vehicle before, it was the size of my hand (woman's hand).
There were bright orange lights on the bottom. I watched it zoom by at about 100 miles an hour - it looked like a fast moving car speed. I could only watch the vehicle between the trees, probably for about 5 seconds max. My dog and I ran to see if we could see anything on the other side of the trees, but it was nowhere in sight. The dogs kept barking when the vehicle passed over in their direction. It was so silent, my dog didn't even look up.
Sideline, when I told my husband how low this UFO was flying, he didn't think it was possible without hitting the trees. So my first report said 100 yards up. But as I was driving on the freeway the following day, I noticed all the tallest street lights that are always next to certain areas of the freeway - the ones that have three lights on them. There are also shorter lights but I'm talking about the tallest ones. The tallest lights were how low the craft was flying.
When I checked out the path in the daylight, there was plenty of room for it to fly that low without hitting any trees. I don't know how anybody else did not see this strange sighting, but nobody else was in sight. I'm tempted to go door-to-door and ask other neighbors if they saw anything.
Right away I called the local TV Channels. The only one that had a live person to talk to said, "that's kind of funny that you'd report that today because it's the Spring Equinox and you could have seen a reflection from the Northern Lights. This was no reflection but rather a solid, industrial strength vehicle.
I sent this information to the local Oregon Mutual UFO Network. Tom Bowden responded right away and will send a local rep to interview me. However, he thought I should also send this information your way."

Three, dim, gray lights in triangle formation over Indiana
Report from MUFON:
Date of event: March 17, 2010
Location of event: Indiana, USA
"I was standing on my deck after picking up some Taco Bell, and I looked up for a minute to look at the stars. I noticed a strange silouhette-like triangle shape out of my peripheral. I started tracking it with my eyes, and noticed there were three dim gray lights in an equilateral triangle formation.
I could not tell if they were connected or separate, but I felt as though it was one craft I was looking at, not three. If you held a nickel up at arm's length, it was about as large as the nickel from point to point. The lights moved at a constant rate the whole time, very fast, in a straight line.
I watched it move silently for about 15 seconds until it was behind the optometry building. I felt both wonderment and fear while I stood there watching it. This is the second time I have seen a trio of lights in the sky. It was way too strange."

Family witnesses triangle UFO over Oklahoma
Report from MUFON:
Date of event: March 10, 2010
Location of event: Oklahoma, USA
"My mom and I were driving home from the store and she thought that she would try to scare me. She saw three lights in the sky and said, "Hey, is that a UFO?" and I looked and said," No, that's the signal tower." So we were almost to the house when all of a sudden, we noticed lights that were practically hovering very slowly.
My mom stopped the car on the side of the road and we looked out the window, and the lights stopped right over our house for about five seconds then it started slowly moving toward us. My mom started the car and she parked it on the drive-way, and the aircraft was very low to the ground... it looked like it was landing but the airport was farther away than where it was landing.
There was no sound coming from it... so we went inside and looked up triangular UFOs on Google and they had a video that some guy taped at 3:15 AM. We looked at the video and the thing he saw was exactly the thing we saw. Very creepy!!"

Black triangle reported over Plant City, Florida
Report from MUFON:
Date of event: March 9, 2010
Location of event: Plant City, Florida
"Black Triangle UFO with 3 dimly lit lights, 1 in each corner, made no noise, flew over Plant City, FL. Estimated distance from ground to air: 1,000 feet. Flight direction: north by northwest. Estimated speed: 120 MPH.
I went out in my backyard for a few moments tonight and by chance I looked up during that time to enjoy the clear skies and bright starry night when I noticed an object moving north by north west very fast. Due to its dark color blending in with the night sky backdrop, it took a moment to judge its shape. There was no noise at all, and it had 3 dimly lit lights, 1 in each of its 3 corners.
It was a large black triangle. When a plane or helicopter flies over our area at low or high altitude, within a few seconds or sooner you can hear its propeller or jet sound depending on how high it is. This made no noise at all. I observed it for about 30 seconds until it flew out of sight. No other details.
Thank you,"

The Phoenix Lights
When involving UFOs and other paranormal fields, cases with many witnesses are rare and the sightings are hard to confirm. A photograph or two to is lending more credibility to witness, but it is often hard authenticate it. But there cases where multiple photographs and videos have been made, taken by many witnesses. One of the best known cases of this is the case of the so-called Phoenix Lights on March 13, 1997.Image top-left: A drawing of the object appeared in USA Today.
SEEN FROM NEVADA TO ARIZONA
Many people in the Phoenix area had gathered outside to try to catch a glimpse of the Hale-Bopp comet who was going to be visible, and many also cameras to capture this celestial event. But the Hale-Bopp wouldn’t be the night’s main event. But earlier on the day, sightings of an unknown V-shaped craft had already come in from Henderson, Nevada, Prescott and Prescott Valley and Dewey, about 75 miles north of the city it was headed for, Phoenix. Witnesses in these areas had reported a very large V-shaped craft with lights underneath.
This V-shaped craft finally reached Phoenix and was observed by many people, the city council actually received over 700 reports, as is slowly moved over Phoenix. This time, the craft were reported to be a mile wide V or boomerang shaped craft. But the sightings over Phoenix wouldn’t end with giant solid craft, and this time photographic evidence would be caught. Soon after the craft had passed over the city, a series of lights appeared, one by one, and would later also extinguishes one by one. This was captured on tape and is often showed in UFO documentaries.
FLARES AN UNLIKLEY EXPLNATION
In event of this magnitude, it was just a figure of time before the military would become involved in this incident. The military’s standpoint have been since that day that the first incident involving the giant craft was only fighter jets in a V-shaped formation and that the secondary incident were nothing more than series of flares dropped by a A-10 "Warthog". But when comparing what witnesses observed to how flares, several flaws can be found. First, it was reported that lights moved in unison, something flares doesn’t do. Neither do they fall to ground and fly back up into the air. And secondary, there were reports of hovering lights hours before the military launched the flares.
The Phoenix case is unique among other UFO cases, the share amount of witnesses and photographic evidence is astonishing compared to other incidents. But still, no good explanation has been given on what was seen by thousands of witnesses in Phoenix on March 13, 1997. The case remains unexplained.

Helicopter escorts triangle UFO near March Air Force Base
Report from MUFON:
Date of event: March 4, 2010
Location of event: near Riverside, Texas
"On this particular night, I was parking my car after returning home from a friend's house. I generally look up at the night sky anyway, but on this particular night I heard a helicopter approaching from my right. Thinking nothing much of it, I get out of the car and pan my head over in the direction of the helicopter. When I did this, I saw a very large object slowly approach overhead and it looked to me like it was being escorted by a helicopter.
The helicopter was flying directly adjacent to this very large triangular object. I'd say it was about 2-3 football fields in diameter. I saw the 3 bright lights making out the triangular shape, and noticed a very slow, pulsing red light in the bottom of the object. Stunned at what I was seeing, I froze to look at the object in the middle of the street. It was about 6-700 feet above me, flying fairly low and extremely slow for an aircraft that large.
The curious thing about it was that it made absolutely no noise. All I heard the whole time was the sound of the helicopter and nothing else. When the object went straight over my head, I felt a very eerie feeling - like I was being watched at that very moment. After it went overhead and beyond the horizon, it looked like it was heading toward (the direction) of March Air Force Base into the San Timoteo Canyon.
The total event only lasted a few minutes, and I thought it was very interesting that it looked like the helicopter was escorting it."

Triangle UFO photographed over California, 2009
Report from MUFON:
Date reported: February 26, 2010
Date of event: November 29, 2009
Location of event: Anza-Borrego Desert State Park, California
"On November 29, 2009 my husband, my son and I were out in Anza Borrego Desert exploring. We were in Grapevine Canyon; we stopped at 1:30 pm to eat lunch. We were close to the end of the canyon in an old Indian village looking around. At approximately 1:54 pm we heard a military jet go by. We looked up and saw to the left of us a silver object. It moved across the sky from left to right slowly, then it broke apart into what looked like a larger triangle of three silver balls. It then moved slowly and went back to the smaller object which was a smaller triangle. My husband yelled "UFO" and I started taking pictures. What is weird with the three pictures I am sending to you is that in the third picture it does not take off and disappear...It disappears in place. The wires you see in the photos are telephone wires.
Grapevine Canyon is a sandy trail located between the Volcan Mountains and Grapevine Hills into Anza-Borrego Desert State Park. Grapevine Canyon can be reached via a road that passes through private property off S22. Another access is from S22 through the Jasper Trail which is more towards the west end of the Grapevine Canyon. "

Motorist sees triangle UFO over Florida
Report from MUFON:
Date reported: February 23, 2010
Date of event: February 18, 2010
Location of event: Orlando, Florida
"While traveling from the Atlanta, GA, to the Ft. Lauderdale area, on the evening of Thursday, Feb. 18, at around 9:15 PM, I was driving south on Florida's Turnpike, when I noticed some light in the sky, off to my left, which caught and held my attention. I immediately asked myself, "What is that?" The light I saw was standing still, way up in the air. I thought that it might be on a tower... but it would have had to have been 200 feet up in the sky, and that didn't make sense.
So I kept glancing at it as I drove on, trying to figure out what I was seeing. I managed to see some light reflected off the object, and I made out that this huge flying object was just hovering in the sky, and the light on it was constant... it was not blinking.
I could not stop anywhere along the road... it was pitch black and it would not have been safe. So I continued for a few more minutes, constantly checking the object. I saw what appeared to be a black, very large, boomerang-shaped aircraft, with a light, and not moving... just hovering in the sky.
Unfortunately, when I could finally stop, it was at a very well lighted service area, which prevented me from really getting a good look at the object. At that point, it seemed to slowly move off, but I was not able to make out the entire shape of the craft. As I got back on the road, I noticed that there were lots of planes in the sky, also off to my left, as I was near an airport, around Orlando, FL.
However, as I studied the planes and their lights, it was very clear to me that the light on the object that I saw was not at all like the lights on the planes I was now seeing. That led me to believe that my eyes were not playing tricks on me. I had actually seen a huge, unidentified flying object in the sky. I just wish I could have parked sooner and gotten a good look... and perhaps a snapshot."

Unidentified lights create triangle over Kansas
Report from MUFON:
Date reported: February 10, 2010
Date of event: January 9, 2010
Location of event: Pratt, Kansas
"Kansas - 01-10-10 - Viewed over Pratt, Kansas - Saturday January 9, 2010 - 8:55 PM: My date had pointed out the constellation Orion while we were walking up her sidewalk.
We were then looking upwards towards the eastern sky when 3 dim, but distinct white lights forming an equilateral triangle flew overhead at high speed on about an 80 degree easterly heading.
No outline of a craft was visible. The lights each had appearances more like that of illuminated rings rather than being solid, and the intensity of each ring was about that of a medium star that is easily observable.
If there had been street or yard lights nearby, they probably would not have been visible. I definitely feel that they were all on one craft of some sort, as they did not vary in distance or orientation to each other at all.
As for the size, the palm of your hand would have covered them all with your arm extended. The diameter of each ring was approximately 25% of each leg of the triangle. They had already passed overhead when we spotted them at about 75 degrees above the eastern horizon.
I’d estimate that they traveled 30 to 35 degrees of the sky in 3 to 4 seconds, before we lost sight behind the trees and roof. The wind was calm and we heard absolutely no sound.
This craft had just gone out of sight when we spotted a single ring of light of the same magnitude and speed following a parallel path slightly to the south. It may have been slightly larger than the other rings."

Triangle UFO seen over Illinois
Report from MUFON:
Date reported: February 3, 2010
Date of event: January 27, 2010
"My husband and I had just pulled into McDonalds parking lot and stopped the car. I looked up and directly in front of us was a Petsmart. Right over the top of Petsmart I saw three REALLY bright white lights. They were very low and seemed to be sitting still at first. I thought maybe it was just a very low airplane coming straight and that's why it seemed to be moving slow.
Then I could tell it was getting closer, and I even made the comment to my husband, "If thats an airplane it's awfully low." I had looked at the clock and it said exactly 8:45. My husband I both sat and watched it and it was taking forever for it to get to us, considering it was so close to begin with...I looked back at the clock and it was 8:48 and was just getting to be almost directly over our car. My husband got out and went on inside the store (he said he thought it was strange, but he's not really interested in this kind of thing) and I sat in the car and still watched it. I rolled down the windows of the car and there was NO sound at all...even though it almost directly above the car and I could tell at this point that it was a black triangle shaped object. It was just HOVERING...not making a sound, no engine noise or anything. It was really eerie to watch it just gliding along completely silent. It was still moving really slowly and as it banked (sort of like the jets do in the air shows) and got further away, I looked at the clock again and it was 8:51. I watched it till it got far enough away that it was hard to see. It was 8:58 whenever I stopped watching.
I had my cell phone with me and WANTED to take a picture of it, but for one, I've never taken a picture with my cell phone and didn't want to try at that moment to figure it out. Also, I was in total awe of this thing. It was SO pretty and SO huge. I really didn't want to stop watching it, and except for glancing at the clock a few times, I just wanted to keep watching...when it 'banked' to turn it was incredible. It was just gliding along completely silent...my husband estimated it to be no more than 300 feet in the air."
